• Unfortunately, Toyota does not provide an instruction manual on how to program keys.
• Customers will need to book a service with the Service Department to have it programmed if that is required.

Features:

• Up to 30 remote controls can be programmed into the CIR.
• The standard range of the remote control transmitter is 1.5 - 2.0 meters from the vehicle. Radio waves from communication towers, CB radios, etc., and metallic film window tinting will reduce the remote control operating range.

Installation Instruction: A valid remote control has previously been programmed.

1. Order a new remote control.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Insert a valid remote control into the reader. The security indicator will illuminate for five seconds.
4. Remove the remote control.
5. Insert the new remote control into the reader.
6. Remove the remote control.
7. Test system operation.
